About my new single "I Escape"


My latest original is here for all to enjoy. I Escape is a song about escaping all facets of life. This song came about after a late night studio session and was my first recording after taking a break for a short while. The spacey mood of the beat and the melodies and tempo (produced by my bro Yusuf Hakeem) inspired by simplistic approach as far as the style I used. The subject matter is deep, personal and introspective/outrospective at moments. A lot of people have said the song is too long and I expected that... Anyway, It's about using things like drugs to escape and ultimately escaping drug use. Play this song in a chill mood or late night vibe.
